There is an apparent calm in Robin Bolt's work that is only broken when one takes a closer look at what is happening in the works.

Even if one cannot perceive the place, it is tangible.

Tangible in our imaginations, in the time we experience.

Places that can be non-places at the same time, through a change of perspective?

Robin Bolt draws the viewer into her perception and into her reality through the reflection of non-places, so that it is clearly recognizable that this place is a place for memories, a place which holds a [dis]appearance of time and thus of identity.
