The artist shows in her work not necessarily the bang, but rather the echo, which is just as loud, if you are only willing to listen.

Katarina Kloppe plays with the things she shows, does not show or even hides.

 

Materials become organic and acquire a kind of physicality; not always because of their form and cut, rather especially through the words said or unsaid.

One gets the chance to recognize oneself as an outsider in the works and yet also to feel with them. Said words sound as familiar as raw thoughts. Moments, human and private, play out before you. Abstracted and thoughtful, right to the point.
